Even among the random deaths in the seige of Sarejevo

the citizens still went to the hairdresser
even though there was no water
they still attended the theatre
even though there were no lights

life and love still continues among the falling shells.

Can life go on as normal with the body in pain and the
city under siege?

Based on a Research and Development Project funded by
Arts Council Wales

dealing with the body, pain and performance.
